Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: July 10, 2023

1. Consulting & Development Retainers

Engagement with Aaryom begins with an initial deposit as outlined in your Statement of Work (SOW). This deposit is non-refundable once consulting hours have been logged or development architecture has been drafted.

2. Milestone-Based Refunds

Our software development projects follow a strictly milestone-based payment structure:

  • Payments made for **completed and approved milestones** (e.g., UI/UX Design, Backend Architecture, Beta Release) are non-refundable.
  • If a project is cancelled mid-milestone, the client is responsible for payment of all hours worked up to the cancellation notice date.

3. Cancellation Notice

Either party may terminate a development contract by providing 15 days' written notice. Upon termination, Aaryom will provide the client with all work-in-progress materials for which payment has been cleared.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following costs are strictly non-refundable:

  • Third-party API licenses or software purchases made for the project.
  • Server setup fees and cloud hosting costs (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Strategic consulting sessions already conducted.

5. Service Disruption

In the event that Aaryom is unable to deliver a specific milestone as per the SOW due to internal technical failure, a pro-rata refund for that specific milestone will be offered to the client.
